He graduated with an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad de Monterrey in 2007, receiving honors for his graduation project. He has developed professionally by working at renowned studios with great track records such as Danilo Black and MENOSUNOCEROUNO —now Brands & People—. He specializes in editorial design and branding, with a special focus on the subject of typography.
In 2010, he founded BLANC, a design studio focused on brand communication which is managed by him and three partners. There, he acted as director of Art and Corporate Identity Project Management, Advertising, and Brand Communication. After pursuing a Master’s degree in Typographic Design from the Centro de Estudios Gestalt, he left BLANC to serve as Art director with Grupo LVT.
He has carried out a large number of projects for clients such as Tec Milenio, Hospital Ginequito, Afirme, Villacero, Crédito Sí, Grupo Milenio, and Hospitaria. He also collaborated in a typographic design project for the homelessfonts.org initiative, for the Arrels Foundation, in Barcelona.
Additionally, he is the art director for Carnem magazine, an independent Architecture publication. As part of his teaching activities, he has taught Typography courses at various levels at CEDIM, LCI Monterrey, and UDEM.
