Thomai teaches the courses Fashion Marketing, Fashion Business, Fashion Window Dressing, and Fashion Coordination Strategies. She also supervises Final Evaluation Projects in the undergraduate degree program in Textile Design and Fashion.

She is working on two important collaborative projects at UDEM’s department of Textile Design and Fashion, one with Dr. Takeshi Khoa Dang of the Chanapatana International Design Institute of Bangkok, Thailand (Global Classroom Project) and the project COIL in Global Merchandising with Professor Joseph Antee of FIT (the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York).

She has given talks and led workshops at MARCO, the Contemporary Art Museum of Monterrey, and she was a visiting professor at the Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Finland in the Spring of 2017.

Before joining UDEM, she worked for Edinburgh Online Fashion Week and for Misuma, a Scottish sustainable fashion brand.

In 2011, she founded BONNE (www.bonnemode.com), a fashion blog. To date, she is the blog’s editor and in charge of making it known through the social networks.
