A space of ideas and expressions that gathers and develops the best creative talent, establishing itself as the hub for education, creation, preservation of art, architecture, and design in Latin America.

Currently, it holds a LEED Silver Certification, awarded by the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), making it the first of Tadao Ando's works to receive such recognition and the only building of a higher education institution in Nuevo León internationally certified as an environmentally friendly space. Since 2013, the halls, workshops, and labs of CRGS have catered to eight undergraduate programs, five graduate programs, and a high-performance program for the top 300 students from Latin America.

For UDEM, through the Roberto Garza Sada Center, it is crucial to:

• Establish Nuevo Leon as a leader in Latin America for art, architecture, and design education. 
• Have designers capable of breaking paradigms and innovating to enhance our quality of life. 
• Drive research and development in the household appliances, automotive, metal-mechanical, and health sectors. 
• Shift from "Made in Mexico" to "Designed in Mexico." 
• Enhance the competitiveness of Nuevo Leon's organizations based on contributions to design and intellectual property, fostering developments and innovations in design.

CRGS at the Universidad de Monterrey presents itself as a welcoming space and simultaneously as an architectural landmark, an access point, and a realm for teaching and invention: a threshold to creation. As we approach this massive and powerful building, characterized by its apparent concrete volume with a rectangular profile, we understand the various approaches we can take to comprehend its full extent.
