Cultural Tour of the Roberto Garza Sada Center

The Roberto Garza Sada Center for Art, Architecture, and Design is a space at the University of Monterrey dedicated to nurturing creativity, fostering innovation, and the appreciation of beauty.

It is the first public work by its creator, Tadao Ando, in Latin America, and he named it "Gate of Creation" in honor of the prominent entrepreneur and philanthropist from Monterrey, Roberto Garza Sada.

Guided tours are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.

Tours depart from the building lobby (in front of Gallery 1).

Prehispanic Collection Tour

The Alberto Fernández Ruiloba collection comprises over 250 pieces integrated into UDEM through a loan agreement formalized in 2018 with the Fernández family, with the intention of making it accessible to the community.

Guided tours are available on Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 11:15 am.

Tours depart from ESTOA Floor B.

Contemporary Collection at Campus UDEM Tours

UDEM has over 200 pieces in its collection, turning the Campus into a space where the community engages and lives art through works created by Manuel Felguérez, Rufino Tamayo, Rodolfo Morales, Dale Chihuly, Antony Gormley, among others.

Guided tours are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

Temporary Exhibitions Tour

Alongside the Center for the Arts| UDEM collection, temporary exhibitions are showcased in the CRGS galleries and other areas on campus, inviting the entire community to engage in encounters, reflection, and dialogue.

Guided tours of the temporary exhibitions are offered on Thursdays from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.

Tours depart from the Roberto Garza Sada Center lobby (in front of Gallery 1).
