Biography
Maria Eugenia Santos has been the director of the Interior Design undergraduate degree program since 2017. She has had teaching experience since 2008, leading Design workshops. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and holds a Master’s degree in Competency-based Education.
In 2006, she founded CM2, a company dedicated to commercial and housing projects and construction. Subsequently, in 2016, she founded Habiter, a project consultancy firm. She has been an associate of companies such as Merbain Consulting, Capital Vivo, and Inmobiliaria Cardenas Santos, with projects of international standing. From 2002 to 2006, she worked on the design of commercial, ephemeral, and itinerant spaces, as well as recreational spaces and theme parks.
She was the recipient of an “Habitar el Cuerpo” (Inhabit the Body” program scholarship. At present, she is developing projects on space phenomenology and the use of technology in architectural spaces.
