Biography
M. Arq. Ana Cristina García did an undergraduate degree in Architecture at the Universidad de Monterrey and a concentration in urbanism at the PUC of Río de Janeiro, Brazil. Subsequently, she did a Master’s degree in Architecture and Sustainability at the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya in Barcelona and then a Master in Building Projects Management in Mexico. She has pursued advanced studies in universal accessibility at the Universidad de Jaén.
She has been a Professor of Design with the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at the Universidad de Monterrey, where she also held the position of Director. She has delivered lectures at different universities in Mexico and other countries of Hispanic America.
From 2010 to date, she has been a partner and deputy director of the firm Green Consulting, which engages architects and specialists at various locations in Latin America. This firm offers comprehensive services in the areas of planning and urban development, architectural design, executive project, and ecological design, linked to various international organizations in the sphere of ecological certification.
She has lived, studied, and worked in the United States, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Mexico. She has more than ten years’ professional and academic practice. During this time, she has worked with architects and designers with extensive professional experience.
