Besides his work as an educator, Guillermo Lavín has worked as a Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Animator and Art Director in companies and studios dedicated to the creation and application of design and communication strategies for over 14 years.
His interest in digital art and media has allowed him to participate and lead numerous interdisciplinary projects such as 3D animated videos, motion graphic design, illustrations for print media, character design, branding and promotional campaigns for clients such as Cemex, FEMSA, Grupo Financiero Value and Petro-7.
He was partner and art director of the animation and multimedia area of the graphic design studio Re-Set for 8 years.
During his career as an educator, he's had the opportunity of working in higher education and continuing education programs related to graphic design, communication and animation in institutes and colleges such as the University of Monterrey. the UAT and the La Salle Victoria University.
He currently teaches classes in topics regarding Visual Thinking, Fundaments of Design, Introduction to Animation and Motion Graphics, while also, participating as a mentor for several Final Evaluation Projects in the Bachelor of Graphic Design program, in the University of Monterrey.
