  • UDEM Architecture Students to Participate in the XVIII International Workshop by RCR Arquitectes

We are proud to announce that, following an internal call, four students from the Architecture Program at the University of Monterrey have been selected to participate in the XVIII International Workshop on Architecture and Landscape, organized by RCR Arquitectes in Olot, Spain.

Ana Carolina Félix Camacho, Marcelo García Capistrán, Martín Mauricio Canizales Pérez, and Ximena Yuzeth Angulo Castro were chosen from a competitive pool of applicants for their academic excellence and outstanding design portfolios.

The workshop will take place from July 4 to 19, 2025, and represents an invaluable opportunity for interdisciplinary learning, bringing together students and professionals from the fields of architecture, landscape, and photography in a creative laboratory centered around the theme: “Atmospheres.” This year’s edition will use the Sagrada Familia as a starting point to explore new ways of perceiving, representing, and creating.

This first collaboration between UDEM’s Architecture Program and RCR Arquitectes—a prestigious firm and 2017 Pritzker Prize laureate—offers a unique experience that promotes experimentation, critical thinking, and global dialogue. Our students will have access to creative processes and distinctive methodologies developed by architects who have redefined the practice through ethical, aesthetic, and territorial lenses.

We celebrate our selected students for their talent, dedication, and commitment to architecture, and we wish them a profoundly formative experience in this internationally renowned creative laboratory.
