Talent That Crosses Borders: Our Students Shine on the Paris Runway

On Monday, December 2, 2024, students Marcela Kristel López Ouzande and Cristóbal Madrigal Pons, from the Bachelor’s in Fashion Design, were selected to participate in the annual international runway show in Paris, titled "Paris et Duperré enchantent le monde," held at the Paris City Hall and organized by École Duperré Paris.

The students showcased designs developed during their workshops at the University of Monterrey. In addition to participating in this prestigious event, they took part in specialized workshops on leather and laser cutting organized by École Duperré Paris and visited iconic locations such as Fondation Alaïa, Dover Street Market, LVMH Galerie "La Main," Dior Gallery, and Galeries Lafayette, among others.

This collaboration was made possible thanks to the visit of Natacha Lallemand, Head of International Relations at École Duperré Paris, to the University of Monterrey during the Cumulus Monterrey 2024 event. During the event, Fashion Design students participated as speakers and showcased their projects developed with biomaterials.
